With three convenient locations in Rolesville, Louisburg, and Raleigh, we are easily accessible for our patients in Raleigh, Wake Forest, Franklinton, Louisburg, Knightdale, and Zebulon, we offer the full spectrum of veterinary services for dogs, cats, and exotic pets such as birds, reptiles, and rabbits. Our friendly and experienced staff is dedicated to professional and cost-effective care, offering services from annual wellness checks and vaccinations to X-rays, surgeries, and chemotherapy.

Meet Our Doctors

Jennifer Hummel, DVM

Rolesville, Louisburg, Forestville

Dr. Jennifer Hummel is a Wilson, North Carolina native with over 15 years of experience practicing veterinary medicine. She came to Rolesville Veterinary Hospital in 2008 and is currently rotating between both Rolesville Veterinary Hospital and their sister facility Louisburg Veterinary Clinic. She is also currently involved in the Louisburg Spay and Neuter Clinic. She specializes in care for dogs, cats, and exotic animals.

Abby Bamberger, DVM

Rolesville

Dr. Bamberger graduated with her DVM from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Prior to veterinary school, she attended the University of Cincinnati for her undergraduate where she obtained her bachelor’s degree in animal science. She has lived in Ohio for most of her life before making her way to North Carolina to join Vets Pets at Rolesville Veterinary Hospital. She was drawn to Vets Pets because of the supportive atmosphere and ability to practice quality medicine individually tailored to each pet. Dr. Bamberger has a special interest in non-traditional pets and is eager to provide medical care for all kinds of animals, whether they have fur, feathers, or scales.

Jacqueline Chaffer, DVM

Rolesville

Dr. Jacqueline Chaffer is a native of New York and joined Rolesville Veterinary Hospital in July 2024. She attended veterinary school in the beautiful South Caribbean island of Grenada at St. George’s University School of Veterinary Medicine and did her clinical year at University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine. Upon graduation in 2008, she worked at various small animal hospitals in Long Island, Rockland County and the Hudson Valley before migrating and taking the Southern plunge in 2020 to the Raleigh area. She has worked in the Raleigh area for the last 4 years and comes along with her husband, also a veterinarian in the Vets Pets Universe at our sister hospital Louisburg Veterinary Hospital. They currently have 1 and 7/8 mixed breed dogs, Drake (Rottie/Lab mix) and Babs (tripod Frenchie/Bully mix), and 2 domestic shorthair cats, Harvey and Slade. Dr. Chaffer has interests in medicine, ultrasonography, dentistry, acupuncture/rehab and does see some exotic pets. She was a wildlife rehabilitator in NY and hopes to continue that while here in NC and now at Rolesville Vet Hospital. She is an accredited Fear Free veterinarian and hopes to make all pets a little less stressed about visiting the “big bad vet.” In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, visiting new restaurants and craft breweries, doing yoga and Zumba, gardening, and is an avid football and hockey fan (both college and professional).

Jasmine Glasco, DVM

Rolesville, Louisburg, Forestville

Dr. Jasmine Glasco attended North Carolina State University for her undergraduate studies and veterinary medical degree, graduating in 2015. She has special interests in wound therapy, large wound management, and preventative medicine. Dr. Glasco loves to teach, including mentoring young veterinarians and educating clients about their pets. She also enjoys creating lasting relationships with pet parents and their pets.

Colleen Sawyer, DVM

Rolesville

Dr. Sawyer earned her DVM degree with honors from North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2009. She was granted membership to Phi Zeta, the Veterinary Honors Society, for academic achievement. After veterinary school, she completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in Blacksburg, Virginia. She has been in private practice ever since. Dr. Sawyer’s veterinary interests include feline medicine, dentistry, ultrasound, and nutrition.

Nicholas Sterlacci, DVM

Rolesville, Louisburg

Dr. Sterlacci graduated from St. George’s University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2009. He has practiced in upstate New York and Northern New Jersey before joining Rolesville Vet Hosp in 2020. Previous to veterinary school, he graduated from Wagner College in Staten Island, NY.

Allyson Wilson, DVM

Rolesville, Forestville

Dr. Wilson is an NCSU graduate, earning her BS in 2016 and DVM in 2020. Her family moved from Indiana to North Carolina in 1999, and she has lived in the area ever since. When she was 17, she started working at a local veterinary hospital, where she learned she wanted to be a veterinarian. Dr. Wilson’s interests include ophthalmology and cardiology.
