
Dr. Jennifer Hummel, DVM, is a Wilson, North Carolina, native with more than three years of experience practicing veterinary medicine. She came to Rolesville Veterinary Hospital in 2008 and specializes in care for dogs, cats, and exotic animals.
Upon receiving her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from North Carolina State University, Dr. Hummel practiced at Wilson Veterinary Hospital and also worked at East Carolina Veterinary Emergency Treatment Services. She received her undergraduate degree from East Carolina University.
Dr. Hummel truly loves all animals. For proof, look no further than her living room. Dr. Hummel and her husband Brad have more than 60 animals, including 6 dogs, 6 cats, and a herd of birds, reptiles, and other critters.
Dr. Hummel is also the head veterinarian at Noah’s Landing, a non-profit nature center in Coats, where she has been volunteering for more than 10 years.
Born in Fort Walton Beach, Fl, TaryFoy graduated from Armstrong Atlantic State Unviersity with a B.S. in Biology. There, she participated in a variety of research studies including a research project studying microbial ecology in Belize and several projects along the Georgia coastline studying marine microbiology. When she is not assisting in the clinic, she heads outside to spend time with her daughter Sophie in the great outdoors.
Allie Welch, Veterinary Assistant
A native of Gettysburg, Penn., Allie moved to Zebulon with her husband Eric and has worked at Rolesville Veterinary Hospital, Community Animal Hospital, Knightdale Animal Hospital, and EC Vets, an emergency clinic located in Wilson, NC. A graduate of East Wake High School, she is currently pursuing a degree in History/Art and plans to teach eventually. She spends her spare time renovating her house in Zebulon, which she shares with four cats (Romulus, Reemus, Ed, and Bella), three dogs (Moose, Rory, and Souey), and a turtle named Pisachio.
